Topic: Satire
The President, the First Lady and Dick Cheney are flying on Air Force One.

George looks at Laura, chuckles, and says,

"You know, I could throw a $1,000 bill out the window right now and make somebody very happy."

Laura shrugs her shoulders and says,

"Well, I could throw ten $100 bills out the window and make 10 people very happy."

Cheney says,

"Of course, then I could throw one hundred $10 bills out the window and make a hundred people very happy."

The pilot rolls his eyes, looks at all of them, and
says to his co-pilot,

"Such big-shots back there... hell, I could throw all of them out the window and make four billion people very happy."

Thanks Ann. Make that four billion and 1.

Hey! Guys your missing the whole point.....peak out of the tunnel and you will be able to see a clearer picture of what is going on. We the people don't want "crumbs " (one hunderd $10 bills) from the people in power.........no one is saying we should throw them out the window; but they need to be careful not to trip over their own feet(words) near the window.................................

Bea,
Is this some of that "nuance" that you guys are always talking about. How is "I could throw all of them out the window and make four billion people very happy" even loosely translated into "be careful you don't trip over your own feet and fall out a window/door"? Isn't that the same logic that got OJ off?
